Tom Mazzone
Director of Industrial Engineering, Industry Associate Professor
Professor Tom Mazzone, Industry Associate Professor in Technology, Management, and Innovation at NYU's Tandon School of Engineering and Academic Director of the Industrial Engineering program. He has developed many courses centered on team and leadership development, operations and supply chain management, project delivery, innovation, and strategic change management. Under his leadership the program has grown by 40% and achieved its first ever US News & World Report ranking entering at 47. The program's main areas of focus are business transformation and continuous improvement; operations and supply chain management; and operations research and systems analytics.
Professor Mazzone has significant experience in managing large-scale, technology-based transformation programs. The scope includes leading senior executive vision and strategy sessions, designing and leading business transformation programs, developing enterprise architecture road maps, conducting value stream, process mapping and use case development sessions for organizations including Fidelity Investments and Royal Bank of Scotland Citizens.
Professor Mazzone is also the founder of leveredge consulting, which is a consultancy and development partnership focused on building strategic, organizational agility, with clients that include Bright Horizons. It builds on best practice and industry experience to enable businesses to quickly assess opportunities for growth and improvement. This includes a ‘coaching/execution’ model, where they partner with the organization to develop the right targets and build the right skills to ensure high-value process improvement and technology delivery initiatives are delivered on time and that the resultant organizational changes are sustainable.
He also serves as the Chief Growth and Innovation Officer at Act4 a leading Carbon Technology Startup, with responsibilities for all aspects of technology, process and organizational architecture including planning, development and implementation.

Yes, the learning platform is accessed via the internet, and video content is not available for download. Video lectures must be streamed via the internet, and any livestream webinars and office hours will require an internet connection. However, these sessions are always recorded, so you may view them later.
